It’s more that he’s not better than Zinchenko on the ball. When Walker plays he plays in the back 3 in possession like Zinchenko does when Cancelo is on the other side. The comparison is Walker with Zin, not Cancelo.

I think walker and his pace offer us a lot going forward but he's a liability at the back. Zinc deffo better on the ball. I'd prefer to see Laporte instead of zincenko, 3 at the back in possession giving Cancelo freedom to do what he does best

You have a guy like Zinchenko who can’t defend for his fucking life. You have a Sterling who’s had an awful form for the past 4-5 month, unable to finish pretty much everything coming his way. And then he puts Mahrez in there who is as predictable as a sunrise and pretty much never fights for the ball and run.

This line-up will probably cost us. Unbelievable. Pep never learns.

Dont mind me but I think Pep knows bit more than about his players than you think

Assuming walker is injured seeing as he's not on the bench. Would have gone with laporte and I think jesus harassing their makeshift defence was the way to go, he would force them into mistakes. Whilst we've looked strong at the back, that defence is a bit too adventurous and lacking in pace for my liking. Not as confident as I was before the lineups now. Big big games needed from the entire back 4 and sterling and mahrez

Fabinho is a very good centre back but Henderson not so much, good that he's not in their midfield. Laporte at left back might have been an interesting option here, 3 centre backs attacking set pieces vs a team with none.
