Liverpool (A) Post Match Thread

We were awesome in the second half, Gundog and Foden with Bernie supporting murdered them, Rodri just going about his game, Stones and Dias great, alround a really good 2nd half from us, of course if alison would have been wearing his thermal socks it might have been very different!!!!! hahahaha
Raheem as well.
All changed when ffs went off and Master Foden went on the right.

That was x rated!

Biggest disappointment for me about this season and the injuries that have ruined it is that we had broken City. They were gone, completely gone, They started this season essentially like they performed in the last one. They got a glimpse of light when we lost all the players and like the flat track bullies they are, they started dominating. That sickens me more than anything, if we had kept our players we would have won the league in a doddle, we wouldn't have even had to be particularly good.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Oh RAWK! You are the cherry on the fucking cake!
Wow that is delusion on a grand scale "we had broken City" ffs what a load of jokers. "flat track bullies" wow I can't believe that, bullies are their own fans (mob) that smashed up a bus with our team in it

4-1 win and a like from @worsleyweb.

There’s a load of tossers in the off topic and politics forum, I don’t mean Worsley, but whenever it comes to City we’re all blues and this comes first.

Not so long ago Pep seemed to be winding down his time at City - but credit to him - signed a new contract and brought in new assistant coach Lillo - made defence his priority - now we have stability we can concentrate on looking for a world class striker to replace Sergio - I think games like Lyon last season and Leicester 5-2 were a blessing in disguise as Pep realised he needed to evolve his methods to produce another team that can challenge for top honours - think we will make a serious bid for CL this season

Great team performance especially Gundo, Silva and Foden. Take that Salah you diving Cnut!!!

after 20 mins i knew pep plans ? it was to say come on then liverpool lets see what you really got and take the sting out of them and hurt them in the 2nd half. liverpool are suffering just like city last season with burn out ? forget the injuries liverpool have right now. they got thumped by villa with everybody playing so they can not use injuries with today defeat

city today in the first half was patchy at best. but you could see on the break city had something extra when the time was right. the pen miss is now a big problem its got to be mental and playing on the players minds ? it needs somebody to step up and take the ball and just put it away lets hope its in a bigger game like the champions league final ??

PS
am having that phil foden goal on loop all night NO fuck that all season what a hit ? what a goal

We've had worse days!

Kudos to unsung heroes today, Zin and Rodri.

Zin, in particular, gives us so much balance and precision with the passing into midfield.

As for Mahrez... Take a look in your rear view mirror and you will find nobody there, Foden and Bernie have left you well behind are in a different class, and that's without having to factor KDB back in.

Two things baffled me (1) I don’t think Stones was offside for the offside goal I thought Mahrez was, I may have been wrong but why the fuck do we NEVER get the lines that other teams do? VAR is more corrupt than the on field officials (2) how the fuck does that anti-City clown Bajowski give our players an average of less than 7 each? mUen are appalling

They're going to be hearing about cold feet for the next five years, it'll probably outlast Klopp, you'd be gutted if Pep came out after a defeat and said something so daft.
What do you mean "probably" outlast Klopp?

I wouldn't be surprised if he's already making plans to move on. The game is up for him and he knows it.

Diaz made no mistakes. He tickled the hairs under Nosalad's armpit and the King of Egypt took a dive.
Or as Sky commentary said "Accepted the contact"

The Cold Feet Klopp excuse for 'the world's greatest goalkeeper' too, and Kippity getting rattled by Geoff Shreeves (I'm listening intently) - it doesn't get much better, especially with Phil's wonder goal to round it all off.
