We should remember that a lot of our critics on Twitter are not trained journalists but are esssentially politicised trolls, many with racist attitudes towards our owner. Less than 10 per cent of people in the UK even use Twitter. What these people say has very limited influence in the real world. How we are treated by the BBC is a much greater concern.

If there were two people in here whom l never thought would utter 'our gaff', they would be you and I. I deliberately mention McVities as l knew its location would 'peak' your interest.

Cant beat the old Coop biscuit works in Crumpsall. looming clock tower and the smell of baking. We go to Goa for a winter break and a lot of the guys we know love their footy, not all City fans but they are quite knowledgeable. They know all the players, managers and they love stats. But I've never heard any if them discuss what Harris or Delooney has been on about. They are irrelevant.
