Just watching PL years 18/19, you’d be forgiven for thinking the scum won the league that season the number of their goals they have shown. Rather than show us winning games they just said “and Manchester City won all their next four games”! If they could officially change history then these Sly cunts would. They spent longer talking about plastic cups at Arsenal than they did us

Fernández is just an above average player in a very average team. Its really not that difficult to stand out and if he is such a world class "match winner" what the hell are they doing in the Europa league??

Really, no way. He was on the Foxtel football channel for a few years, it was great having a blue flying the flag. Not seen anything of him for a good while .
Yeah, top lad he is. He cut his teeth at 5live before heading to Oz. I was with him once when he interviewed Carlton Palmer after Stockport beat us (how shit were we then) and Palmer spotted that Hilly was wearing a City shirt under his jacket. The interview didn't end well. Last saw him at Swansea away a couple of years back.

Pl years used to be well put together. Now it is just all the post game montages stuck together with the odd other bit thrown in.

Pep will never be regarded as a great manager until he takes the Red Lion, Flixton pub team to the Champions League Final.

Meanwhile, Bingo and OGS will be lauded as geniuses for taking their teams of low-paid strugglers to er - any success at all, as everyone knows they get by on a budget of 10k a year.
The Red Lion is now a nursing home mate so he's going to have his hands full with that squad

@blueju

Is Simon Hill still hosting the sports channel in Oz? I'm pretty sure that the Warrington lad would still be flying the City flag, although he's developed a worrying Aussie accent over the years.

Spent many a match with him before he got the gig down under.

He used to be the main anchor along with spencer prior right up until we became half decent then strangely moved along to do A league.

hmm I dunno.....If I were her husband....I would jack my job in, buy the latest upmarket set of golf clubs and get a vice presidents box at the Etihad. BBC pay top wages. Life could be worse I think :)
I'd buy Fishing equipment
She's a keen golfer
I wouldn't want her dulcet tones down my ear on the tee

Imagine writing an article of several hundred words which still at its most basic level boils down to amplifying a Football Twitter meme from jealous haters
Complete with snide quotes from Lee Dixon and an anonymous Premier League coach trying to disparage Pep. Yet when we bought virtually all the players in our current squad we were mocked for buying badly. Stones, Walker, Cancelo, and Dias were not worth the money, Laporte was not a full international, Sterling was weak, Rodri was too slow for the PL, Jesus was a poor finisher, Gundogan was a crock, Bernardo wasn't as good as Bruno Fernandez, even KDB was a flop and so on and so on.
So a few years later we are criticised because our squad is so good it's not fair. All our players are now world-beaters including Zinchenko and before that Delph.
Well that didn't happen by accident. It happened because our genius of a Manager turned all these players into world-beaters.

Its no use getting worked up about the media as they will and always will pander to the reds and will try and win favour with the brain dead masses by cheap snide remarks on City. Actually just enjoy it cause it just means City are being really successful and it really really irritates them.

Another cracker from the Daily United.

Harry Kane's transfer conundrum: As Tottenham put £150m price tag on his head, moving to Man City would guarantee glory but Pep Guardiola could curb his creativity... while Man United would pile on pressure to end trophy wait but offer freedom on pitch

Totally Football Show podcast has been very good (Monday's and Thursday's shows) recently. Positively glowing about our recent performances. Even a nice little dig at the dippers on Thursday.
