Thought Rose Lavelle looked good when she came on , pitty she didn't get the full game. Also all 5 subs used , Taylor properly using his squad

Almost effortless win, but why do we have a set of three passes that takes the ball backwards from the Birmingham area to our half? One pass, ok, even two, but three is wholly unnecessary and the FA guy (I think) commentating on FAPlayer was musing over goal differences and goals scored if it came down to the wire. I have seen a good few games this season where we could have and should have got two or three more goals per match! Today was another one of 'em.

had some shed roof felting to do today, so just caught FA player and rewound it to the start, what an awful camera angle it is, our ladies are spoiled rotten at our complex, it is hard to believe that is the FA's midlands home.

it looked like the whole coverage used a single camera - the FAs attitude to Women’s football is so small time. It was difficult to see many of the goal mouth incidents. At least they don’t have McPointy or Plug as pundits (yet!) Piss poor coverage and not doing much to promote the game.

Also, that commentator could bore the last breath out of you, knocked it off after watching the first half and then skipping until the goals ( i knew it was 4-0)

Shoddy production spoiled the viewing today.

I never know why Channel 4 didn't pick up the WSL after they did great covering the Womens Euros some seasons back ?
Personally think they would do a better job then what BBC/BT/FA player are doing at the moment.
Maybe they need a proper season, ie instead of this 2 matches in a week the nothing for 2 or 3 weeks !

In some ways they would be better going back to the summertime season imo, no other football distractions, when it was like that we were getting a nice healthy crowd at home, some 3rd divisions teams would have liked as many lol

Only trouble, it was out of sync with all other women's Football, ie the Women's Champions League, Women's Euros and World Cup.

Ah, was that why, I had thought they all played in the summer lol ignorance is bliss sometimes :)

That was the FA again. The WSL was much better in the summer (IMHO) - playing when we are all football starved. I agree re Channel 4. The BBC’s coverage is small time, quite condescending and half hearted - often there’s few updates on their website and they can’t be arsed to even update the scores some evenings - unless it’s their beloved Man United Women who they seem to think are some sort of pioneers and the driving force behind the WSL.

Also, that commentator could bore the last breath out of you,
I thought it was hilarious when he told everyone "Man City are playing from left to right in the second half, and Birmingham City are playing from right to left". No shit sherlock, apart from we're watching it on TV, it would be highly unusual for both teams to play in the same direction.

Nearly as good as that old snooker one...

For those watching in black and white, the pink is next to the green. lol

Lavelle and Dahlkemper had only just returned from international duty so probably why the latter started on the bench. Hopefully after her SheBelieves tournament success and MVP award then Lavelle can kick on and get in the starting line-up a bit more often. Just not sure with the way we play whose place she takes.
