Expect that to happen then ;-)If that's reported as part of the main testing results it will make them meaningless as a way of tracking the pandemic.

can people like me getting a vaccine first? cheers. As a gesture of goodwill, and with things going so well here, we should send them from our stocks, and stick 2 fingers up at italy and the eu. The total amount stopped, is under 1 day (mostly) of our doses given out.
I've not had mine either, but I'd be willing to let Australia have a single days worth of ours to help, it's utterly pathetic from the eu.can people like me getting a vaccine first? cheers.
I'd rather we look after our own first.I've not had mine either, but I'd be willing to let Australia have a single days worth of ours to help, it's utterly pathetic from the eu.
I think case numbers may instantly become unreliable as school testing comes online - LFT false positives may dominate the numbers as IIRC the fake positive rate is far higher than PCR. I wonder if PCR testing will be/is split out.
Well the EU are certainly showing their true colours now..and I'll leave it at that.I've not had mine either, but I'd be willing to let Australia have a single days worth of ours to help, it's utterly pathetic from the eu.
Another wonderful day.
We're gonna be having potentially sub 200 days on the 'big' days next week and probably even some sub 100 days on the others I reckon.
Once Avacta gets their test out there will be no false positives if their initial test results prove to be correct. Result in 5-10 mins as well and a British company to boot.

i get your gist mate, but 242 deaths is never wonderful
Purely voluntary tests that in Kent haven’t got more than 35% permission of parents to conduct? Can expect that to shoot up again as LFTs are rolled out in schools - 2 tests per pupil per week, must be a million a day easily?
of course its relative, and i did say i got your gist.Obviously! Its all relative though of course.
Not to rain on the parade as I do think we have turned a corner. Its starting to grow again in a lot of places. Europe especially. we need to not get complacent just yet.COVID is now in retreat around the world and it's clear that the vaccines are having a massive effect.
The case numbers in the US in particular are falling fast which is incredible since there hasn't been any real national lockdown and they are even removing mask mandates in some states (Texas).
The biggest one for me is just within the last month the linear scale of global cases and deaths has finally started to show cumulative reductions which has never happened in this pandemic until now.
We are on our way out of this folks.

Of course it will vary country by country. Eastern Europe is probably amongst the worst places for COVID in the world right now but the trend generally is flattening or heading downwards. More critically this trend is happening in places where restrictions are more lax compared to the UK which makes no sense. Not to rain on the parade as I do think we have turned a corner. Its starting to grow again in a lot of places. Europe especially. we need to not get complacent just yet.
it could just be the UK strain spreading to other countries which is causing a surge. this is the czech republic for example. and the WHO are warning its gaining tracking in Europe again
