You don't need to eat your words - a team shouldn't have to carry a player because said player may produce a possible assist at some point in the game.

I can’t understand why people are surprised at Kev. He has always been poor when coming back from injury. Takes him a good few games to get back into the swing of things. Guess Pep is playing him as much as he can to get that difficult period out of the way before CL gets serious

Don't recall him being this poor in terms of his passing. He was well off it in the last game v West Ham in that regard too.
