United striker was well covered before the pen, there was no reason for Jesus to become that clumsy. Absolute huge mistake especially from a striker.

A mistake like this can end our CL this season we need to much more careful...
 
Pep doesn't tend to make halftime subs but he should be making two here kdb and sterling off for foden and Bernardo.

Kdb has been atrocious and he's in there ahead of the main man for the big games in Bernardo. There's not a single person here who didn't predict sterling to have another anonymous game up against wan-bissaka so you have to point the finger at Pep for that he's basically set us up with 10 men playing sterling.

We've dominated after a disastrous start but we've barely tested the keeper. It's all been infront of them nd they don't look all that fragile in truth which given some of the comical defending we've seen from them this year is poor on our part.

Make those chaneges early and we win this. Stick at it until they score the second on the break before changing it nd we've got no chance.
 
Can't afford gifting them goals like this one. Started the game a goal down and now playing against a bus.
 
Plenty of time left to claw it back, and we may very well do so..... but honestly. This is the sort of shit Pep pulls that gets us knocked out of the Champions League time and time again. The Rags playing like this and giving us trouble is nothing new to him. It can't be. He's seen it.

Yes he's brilliant, genius, blah blah blah. He also has this horrible tendency to just make completely dumfounding team selections, and never learn from them. Every man and his dog thinks that Bernardo and Foden should be playing. Dinho should be playing. Raheem is hopeless in these fixtures.

I just don't understand why. He has some kind of mental block that he can't find a way past it seems.
 
Hope I'm wrong but I don't see anything other than us strolling around for another 45 mins and getting caught on the break.
We've got previous for it and don't seem to be able to change gears.

KDB and Gundagon have really dropped off since returning from injury.
