So after much thought I still think Utd were really poor yesterday we really did give it to them with very poor tactics by pep. Our midfield & forwards looked lost & un-fit all game. Walker & Bernie if not foden had to start. Cancello was a ridiculous player to use in this fixture regardless how good he’s been. Very naive by pep for me.

on chances alone we could of won it by 4. Some shocking displays yesterday let us down by most players.

Utd took their chances so they deserve the win. Hopefully the players come back stronger & wrap up the season & shake off any arrogance.

Yesterday for most of us was the day when all those horrible rag fucktwits that have never been near any game never mind one of theirs emerged like a swarm of biting ants. They had been hibernating ,lying in wait. Cousins, neighbours, friends??. They came out in force to celebrate on facetwat and across social media to celebrate and wind us up. Thanks Pep . Your first job is to beat that lot.

Well, Pep said last week he would drop anyone who played as though the title was already done and dusted.

Will he drop anyone after yesterday's display?

He will not drop Kev or raz even if they both scored 2 home goals lol

Being in work this morning, its very clear they now treat us as the ultimate scalp.....we are most definitely their Cup Final.

Obviously i was gutted about yesterday, and especially the needlessness of the result......but i also took enormous satisfaction from the irony of their celebrations and by knowing that fact had clearly escaped them.

Noah fence but how the hell did City lose yesterday?!

Plenty of valid reasons in our after match thread. The main points are:

1: Wrong team selection. Bernardo, Foden and Walker should have started

2: Jesus pressing and hacking away as if he was in their box, the problem was he was in ours and gave away a needless penalty after about 90 seconds.

3: See above. The last thing you need is to go an early goal down against a team like the rags whose whole game is based on counter attacking.

4: Lots of players choosing yesterday to have their worst game in months. KDB being shoehorned into a side that had managed brilliantly without him and as a result disrupting our rhythm and effectiveness.

5: Jesus, Mahrez and Sterling all proving what we already knew, they are just not clinical enough in front of goal, especially against better defences.

6: Pep being Pep and totally getting his team selection and tactics wrong against the rags. Not for the first time.

More a culture of entitlement.
This all over, epitomised by the phrases
'(because) this is Man United' and 'it's in our DNA.'

Both of these presuppose the reason for their success is an ingrained product of what they are (factors seemibgly impossible to replicate, but also out of their control, meaning they don't have to try) as opposed to what they do/how they do it (factors wholly dependent on the effort applied).

This is why such people find it to hard to change when things get tough.

Henderson will be Engerlands number 1 now he's getting a run of games.

Rumours PSG want the Alpaca.

There wasn’t so much as a peep out of any of the rags at work this morning.

It was as if they can see the bigger picture and know that we are far superior to them.

Hopefully it's just a blip.
