So it was actually Andy Madley on VAR duty tonight, not Martin Atkinson, or so the MEN say.
Lost it BT and never found it again along time ago IMO.I think Tyler must have early-onset dementia or something ... starts sentences he can't finish ... waffles on about irrelevant off-field nonsense ... keeps drifting back in time to wistfully recount happier days (mostly involving Utd winning something).
He's losing the plot.
I suppose playing 4 consecutive home games on it in 12 days, didn't help ?said something last week about the pitch (think it was the west ham again) where it looked awful....
So strange as its normally perfect regardless of weather conditions etc
Tyler mentioned the derby result over 30 times in the 1st half and with Hinchcliffe making his knobhead comments it was muted at half time , Tyler is a cretin and obviously not taking his meds.I'd add Tyler to that list. He's getting worse with the amount of pointless drivel he spouts. Very little of what he says is relevant to the game on which he's supposed to be commentating. It's about time he was put out to grass. Fecking dinosaur.
The pitch does look a bit rough. Don’t know why it’s normally pristine
Pure trolling by the bbc. Alex from Yatton is most definitely not a 40-something rag or bin dipper who has never been to a game in his life and thinks football started in 1992.I’ve just posted it on the match thread but look at the state of this on the BBC website match text commentary. I cannot get my head around how this has been allowed. Shocking.
Here here pal fxck the bitter TXATSI am sick of bent/incompetent refs and VAR.
I am also sick of wankers who post shit on the BBC saying we are "soulless". Whatever the fuck that means. Some twat from fucking Yeovil, who it's a million to one on is a plastic fan of one of the Sky mafia. I wish these twats would focus on their own shit clubs - or rather the teams they profess to support. It's not City's fault that the other "big" teams are badly run and only marginally ahead of Accrington Stanley in modern football understanding.
Wasn’t it Madley that booked Sergio at saints a few seasons back for diving when he was clearly cleaned out ?So it was actually Andy Madley on VAR duty tonight, not Martin Atkinson, or so the MEN say.
Thought we were far more compact and despite the early brain fade from Jesus better on the ball in lateral and forward movement overall against Manure.Same here
Fully agree, it's been a while since a 5-2 win felt less enjoyable, and no I feel no sense of entitlement. Gone was our midfield/defense solidity that brought the most recent of our 21 wins. It was like a bunch of superstars from different clubs, meeting at a strange ground and taking on a good local team. Back to huge empty spaces in central midfield and 1 or 2 opponents running at and terrorising 4 or 5 defenders, a bit like we were last season. We won because we had the better individual players but I would be hiding behind the sofa if we fielded that starting 11 in the CL, playing like that, or against Leicester or Chelsea. I will be pounded , no doubt, but we need to go to Bernie, Rodri, Gundogan midfield with Cancelo & Oleks wide + Foden, Kevin + 1 other as a front 3 IMHO. It has been awhile since I felt relief instead of joy after a 5-2 win, but it could have been 9-6. Bright side is, 14 points ahead and 4 trophies still to play for and Pep threatening to wield the axe. Souness says Var officials are making it up as they go along, very hard to dispute that, it needs a thorough review with referees mic'd up like in Rugby, or better again employ some top European refs to make the Var decisions. Refereeing is not easy but television has exposed too many howlers.
Not sure mate, you could be right. Doesn’t sound too impressive if true.Wasn’t it Madley that booked Sergio at saints a few seasons back for diving when he was clearly cleaned out ?
I mute a lot during city games. Waffling on about money at the start, underwhelming response to us scoring, orgasmic response to the opposition scoring. It really shouldn’t be like this, we are playing amazing winning football and most of the audience are blues, so why not cater to them? That’s what I liked about the Everton game on Amazon.Tyler mentioned the derby result over 30 times in the 1st half and with Hinchcliffe making his knobhead comments it was muted at half time , Tyler is a cretin and obviously not taking his meds.
Hinchcliffe can fuck right off for me. Once a blue always a blue??? He's a fucking disgrace to the club he once played for. Can't wait to stick the boot in and toes the line perfectly for Sky. Most ex players would be a little bit "biased" towards us during commentary, but this twat is the polar opposite!!Atkinson, Moss and Hinchcliffe are all cunts.
That’s my insightful post match analysis.
Im still suprised...even when at Maine Road our pitch was usually open of the best if not the best in the country.....(think we won awards for it) and that was 35+ years ago in my memory at least. Iv never seen it as cut up as it is nowI suppose playing 4 consecutive home games on it in 12 days, didn't help ?
It will be standing a lot longer than you lolIt’s the paint that’s holding it together.
Stan Gibson's no longer with us I'm afraid.Im still suprised...even when at Maine Road our pitch was usually open of the best if not the best in the country.....(think we won awards for it) and that was 35+ years ago in my memory at least. Iv never seen it as cut up as it is now
Not according to the rules it’s not. Been that way since they changed the rules a few years back. A red card is only given if the defender / keeper makes no attempt to play the ballthe keeper making a foul stopping a clear goal scoring attempt is a red card all day long
Seconded only I did think it was in the bag once we went 4-1 up so I enjoyed with a muted sense of joy the last 35 minutes.Top post mate.
Thought Kev looked a lot better tonightThe first 30 minutes of that gave me a headache. KDB, regardless of 2 goals, looked bloody awful.
Mahrez saved us. Zinchenko, Foden and Gundogan looked energetic, but the rest looked tired.
