Once they started paying mental money to a few players it just snowballed. Players know what the other lads in the dressing room are earning and they'll want their worth. Nobody is going to accept being paid less than the lad they're keeping on the bench.

If he wants a short term move before then going to the MLS, it would be helpful if a club had links to that league to offer him a nice pathway into the US and to one of its great cities. Oh wait, we do :)
 
At what stage considering he can sign for other clubs does he make an announcement
Surely he will know where he is going now
imagine if he announced he’s coming to City it would really help attract the likes of Haaland

Not until Barca fall short in the title race I would imagine.

He won't announce anything while they're in with a chance of the title, unless it's to announce he's staying. No news very much good news for us in this regard.

After the circus of last summer we won’t be hearing a single thing until it’s all done and dusted. He won’t want to go through that again.

Just genuine questions:
- If that's true, how could this happen: "even aside from his wonderful goal, he was the game's outstanding player against Paris Saint-Germain, having the most shots on target, making the most passes in the opposition half, creating the most chances, completing the most crosses and the most dribbles"?
- Do we care about walking or do we care about shots, dribbles, passes, assists, creating changes, etc.?

Yeah, I think if he was staying something would have leaked out,, now the presidential election's are over.

I think he's staying. I think we're probably getting Haaland. Atleast that's one of the better outcomes I'm hoping for. Getting both would be great, but it seems too good to be true.
