João Félix

Maybe we are looking to change our front line more radically than we thought.

Mahrez, Aguero and Jesus maybe about to leave?
That seems extremely unlikely. There's zero precedent for the club to make that level of change. I doubt Mahrez is going to be sold and I'd be very surprised if the club sold Jesus.

Well at least now if we end up not signing Haaland, and end up with Felix (or someone else we get linked with), it will help with the 'who was fourth or what choice' arguments.

Can you imagine actually caring about things like that? Haha. I remember the absolute tragic nature of the posts on this forum when we signed Dias. You'd hope people have learned, but I doubt it.

I’d take him and I think he’d be a top signing. Only if we can’t get Haaland though. Haaland’s scoring goals at a level we’ve never had in our team before. Even peak Aguero never touched 40 goals in our side (albeit injuries played a part in this as he was definitely capable). Reckon if he stayed fit Haaland would hit 40 all comps every season. Felix is quality but Haaland has to be the priority

Im starting a list this time! every tweet mention gets a point. Earlier tweets count more. Reliability of source carries no weight. Youtube video posted carries half a point. BM poll results coint as goal difference.

etc etc.

Joking aside, it will happen, those arguements. I dare bet that even if we sign messi And haaland, someone will argue one of them was second choice to mbappe or felix.

Don’t rule out Sterling going either. Pep may be running out of patience with him missing so many open goals.

Just a thought

I wouldn’t rule it out concerning Sterling. Pep may be looking to revamp his forwards with 2 top class signings. With Mahrez currently playing out of his skin, it could be Sterling going.

I feel this summer is going to be really exciting with the club pushing the boat out for Pep. Especially if he fails to win the Chumps league again.

You can rule out City selling one of England's best players when he's entering the peak years of his career.

Mahrez is 30 and has had a good few weeks. Sterling is 26 and has been CIty's top scorer over the last 3 seasons. The difference is beyond huge.

I definitely think the summer is going to be interesting and there'll be a shake up of sorts. But you can rule out Raz leaving IMO.

I remember him scoring 9 gales for norway in 1 game and he cud of scored 11 or 12.

You know what you should do? You should go put some money on that. Then when you've lost the money, you can have a good think on how many managers with healthy budgets sell players in their mid 20s that they pick to start virtually every game.

Joao Felix as a false nine in a Guardiola coached City would be amazing to see. The portuguese is an immense talent and is wasting his time in Simeone's team although he has adapted there well and learned to work hard for the team wich is a bonus.

I think that he'd cost more than City would be willing to pay tbh. Top player, but I suspect he's destined for Barca/Real post pandemic rather than England.
