Mendy is play LWB, there is going to be space behind him because that's the role he is playing, but Laporte is staying too narrow and making the space way too big.

Sometimes i feel like our massive weakness as a club is our final 3rd play. It seems like even our training isnt up to scratch on this front. Can people remember how dangerous gabby was when he first arrived? Others have been the same.

Maybe we spend so much time doing drills based on possession, we stifle our own ability to attack or create in the final 3rd!?!?
