He's a ridiculous creative talent. I don't think his technique is quite on KDB's level but his eye for a pass is outstanding.

"Move Mahrez on" makes it sound very simple and easy. I don't understand why so many people think like this because we pay high wages and high transfer fees that 90% of the rest of the market can't come close to matching. He's signed up until 2023 and has no incentive to leave, the only way is down as far as I can see. We've not been able to move on Stones or Zinchenko recently, or further back Mangala. It would be nice but I don't see it, especially in the current environment

I agree to a certain degree, however I don’t think it’d be that difficult to ”move Mahrez on” after his return to form, and especially as he’s now 30 (I think). 2 years left on a deal, both PSG and Real have been mooted to be looking at him, which of course I know could be bullshit and spin by agents, but his resale value is plummeting and do we want to be giving him a fresh deal at his age? Consequently, with 2 years to go, if we got a bid of circa £40/50mil, which wouldn’t be too outlandish, then I could see us possibly letting him go. High wages wouldn’t be an issue to those 2 clubs mentioned.

What specific aspect of technique do you mean? Passing precision? My impression is his ball retention is a level above KDB's, closer to Nasri. Haven't watched JG much though, so could be mistaken

Look , I think he is a very talented individual. I do not want us to sign him for a number of reasons, some technical, some not.
I believe our recruitment is the best in the business, so if they decide to pay a massive fee for the lad, then I hope he proves to be World class.
I tend to stay out of these transfer threads, posters with 500 million to spend in the middle of a pandemic, if City are able to spend a fortune on a player this Summer, you and I know it can only be spent on one special young player.
And yes highlighting the fact that Jack has scored 15 premier league goals is a little nobby on my part.

Passing + crossing technique. KDB has this unusual ability to both see the nearly impossible passes and also play them. He can get all manners of power and spin on them, and can play the 10 yard throughballs and the 60 yard throughballs too. His technique gives him the variety to play so many different passes. His weak foot is great too.

I think Grealish can see the passes really well too. He has really good variety too but it's not on KDB's level (nobody's is IMO).

I agree about Grealish being better at holding the ball. He's a top class foul magnet.

Good assessment.He's also a set piece master and has a surprisingly fast 0-60,but yes,his ability to hold the ball,bring others into play,and get an end product are as good as any player in the league.

Add Haaland and the average age of our squad would be insanely young.

Liam Delap will become a top striker he has all the attributes, Cole Palmer another 1 who has the lot in his locker but difficult to get in this City team especially the next 2 seasons

Yeah, not sure how the numbers would work squad wise without any further outgoings tbh. Unless Gundogan reverted to a 6 again when Fernandinho goes, but that’d be a bit of a waste given how well he’s performed further forward this season.
