was one of them games you think they are going to fluke a goal and city get done ? but this city team/squad are ruthless with a cold heart that never panic. yes we had to bring on KDB to open them up. but KDB was in the defence and laporte attacking and making the first goal for mr whippy

Everton put everyone behind the ball & defended pretty well for most of the game. They barely threatened us offensively, barring that chance that Zinchenko cleared off the line.

As soon as we got the goal it was game over.

Credit to the team for grinding out the win.

Apparently its not fair because we have built a very strong squad and because Pep rotates the players we are still fresh. Unfair to the rest of the league.

Oh and we had that 3 week Xmas break.

And we sent someone in at midnight to cut the grass.

We may not have been great tonight. But we haven’t been able to prepare for a week, and we didn’t play at home.
If this is what Everton had to show for what to them is the only piece of silverware they could win, being a QF cup game, it’s bloody rubbish. If you don’t want it you don’t get it. At least we deserved it.

Sick and tired listening to commentators and pundits going on what we lacked tonight when Everton didn’t have an ounce of guts to try and win this game. Cheltenham gave us a much harder game.

Sorry but no!! No fucking credit for a top half premier league team performaning like Cheltenham or another lower league side. They’ve spent millions and didn’t even try to win the game just to spoil it. It’s fucking tedious hearing the commentary saying how well they’ve done. Utter joke and I’d be fuming if I was a blue dipper.
