Not totally against us signing Haaland but he still has a way to go until he becomes the real deal. He has really big shoes to fill if he is to replace Kun

Love how Manchester Untied and Chelsea are the main pursuers, Madrid and Barca are also interested... oh and wait I suppose Manchester City could be interested too. Almost missed us out...
The media do that to get more clicks from all the armchair fans of clubs linked to him and any other top players. Haaland linked to those clubs gets fans giddy, especially rags. lol.

Oh no doubt. I know why they do it but it’s amusing still. Hopefully we sign him so they can have a good old laugh about that

I agree mate. The best one was when plenty of rags thought Pep was signing for them because of what the papers said, rag cafe was good reading the suckers believing the hype. Was piss funny when they found out he'd signed for us: )

This is the one I think.

€180M seems steep. City will probably hold firm on whatever our evaluation is. I wonder what will give.

At the very least Haaland will be getting a very clear message from Sergio's farewell that "There is a space for you here, if you want it".

If Dortmund don't make it into the Champs League and we don't get this done, we've had a mare. They're 4 points off Eintracht and play them this weekend, having lost 9 games already. There are other options but i think it's clear, this is the one we probably need. He's already coming from a team that likes to keep the ball and press high, but obviously he would still need time to adapt.

Just to be a liitle cautious with this Dortmund didn't bend for the rags last summer for Sancho. I don't think this is a straight forward deal
Its not but scenarios are so so so different. Haaland has a ticking timebomb which by next year reduces his price by more than half of what "they are demanding" publically. Sancho had literally just signed a new contract, was content to stay and was tied up for a further 4 years

They aren't going to bend with Haaland either, even if they miss out on Chumps League. The only difference is they haven't got half the English media on their case unlike they had with Sancho. This isn't going to be an easy transfer

They didn’t want to sell Sancho and didn’t have a lower value release clause hanging over their heads to force them into something they didn’t want to do. They told United the price and stuck to it, which is fair enough.

The scenario with Haaland is slightly different, but I fully expect that they will name their price and it’s up to us to then pay it. If they want something stupid that no team would pay, we shouldn’t pay it either. I think dropping £125m+ on a player with all that’s going on in the world wouldn’t be the best move. However losing out to another side at a reasonable price, because we don’t want to get into a bidding war, would be a big mistake.

Haaland or bust.

Starting with Jesus & another isn't enough up front next season.

Unless it's Kane?
