I still find it crazy, that we Might sign Messi this summer, potentially.

What is even crazier, is that it might not be our biggest signing!

If all targets come in one will be the biggest from a football perspective and one will be the biggest from a statement and commercial perspective, and if grealish joins too he will be pissed off by lack of limelight when he signs lol

I think if all three came off it would be announced separately as:

1. Grealish week one
2. Messi week two
3. Harlaand week four when everyone has recovered from Messi in blue

I have a long held theory on this based on personal experience. When we are looking at buying a company at work we always put some ‘ghost interest’ in place on other potential targets that would be a good fit.

It detracts attention from the real target - I think city did this when signing Dias, and might have done this with Rodri too.

If this is the case then Grealish could be in the same bracket.........

The main target however i just can’t see [emoji2369]

Most of us have alredy read this elsewhere on the interweb, or we've come to a similar conclusion ourselves.

not this time imo, I think the club want to shit the world up!! I think they want everyone to know they are going to splash some serious cash as we will never be respected anyway so fuck it and just kill the competition! I also think pep was promised certain things when he extended his contract.

I just get the feeling now that the Messi links are him using us to squeeze Barca for a big contract again. If we're in so much for Grealish then Txiki mustn't think that Messi is coming.
