Half this forum think the commentary never say anything positive, but they're more positive than half this forum! Big win, big performance against a very good side. If Foden had put one of his many chances away earlier then it'd be even better, but that's very, very big. An early goal in the second game kills the leg.

Foden and De Bruyne excellent tonight, but there was some sloppy passing by the defence and midfield at times. Good result, especially seeing as Dortmund were robbed of a perfectly good goal.

And breathe. We didn't look our usual self, turgid at times but a win is all that matters. His miss aside, Foden was superb. We could have done with bernardo or kdb a bit deeper.

Tough game but foden is absolute class.

And there are better pitches in the Albianian fourth division.

Yet we take a 2-1 lead to their place. Good result for both teams in the end really.

On that evidence they’re more than a match for us, we really need to be at it the second leg, Bellingham’s some player , but Phil was magical .

I didn’t think we played that well,but won through still all to play for in the return leg,can’t see us playing as bad over in Germany..

Glad Foden got the goal his performance deserved but we do need a striker.
