Champions League Games 6/7 April

Akanji ran the whole length of the pitch and Bellingham had the freedom of our half first half, a better side would have thumped us with our lack of defensive transition, compactness and the errant passing on top of all that.
Not true as we play much better against the likes of Real.

With better finishing we would have trashed Real Madrid at Bernabeu.

The difference between City and Dortmund for the 2nd leg is - City can up the performance levels by another 20% easily, while Dortmund can only maintain the level of the last performance, or drop.
Playing away from home is not an issue when fans are removed from the picture. I see a convincing win for City next week.

Were you watching the whole game? He lost the ball around the half way line 3 times fucking about trying to be clever when a straightforward pass was the option.

He's a cheating **** who plays when he wants and is easily got at, strange how no other team is remotely interested in signing him despite him desperately wanting to leave the club. Now Barca are skint he's going nowhere, only PSG can afford him, they can keep him.

Created 2 goals (those things that won PSG the game) against the current european champions.

Have a day at off mate.

PSG looked so vulnerable to high balls and crosses that how Munich only scored 2 goals is difficult to understand. Meanwhile the defence Munich started with was cumbersome and slow. They suffered as PSG exploited their strength of speed against Munich's weakness whilst Munich failed to exploit their attacking aerial dominance. Sane didn't provide much final product after much flattery but this was catered for by Coman and more importantly Kimmich's deliveries, which were top class. Munich had 31 shots of which 12 were on target and just 2 goals, figures that we sometimes churn out. PSG just 6 shots, 5 on target and 3 goals.

We can certainly beat both but as easily lose to either. 1st goals are key and a lot of Munich's problems came from the shock if conceding an early away goal which it was obvious they never thought would happen. It completely knocked the wind out of them, much like our early penalty to United. I think PSG will progress and if we don't leave space at the back then we have a chance. Dortmund first though!
