Leeds (H) | Post Match Thread

If the game wasn’t important than the result and performance aren’t as well. Simple. And according to loads on here it wasn’t important.

Pep probably read BM in his 20 hrs study. And gathered it wasn’t a big deal by fielding too many players who are either out of form or without enough match minutes.

Leeds fought and fouled and defended. Nothing more they could do with 10 men. But we attacked without any ideas and a low tempo. So even for 10 it was easy to stay organised. And with enough breath to sprint for a winner that was always going to come.
 
Can't believe he didn’t put KDB on when Stones was getting so much space. Bizarre game but hopefully just an anomaly
 
What Pep was thinking with Ake & Mandy together is baffling.
We were open all through the game
No guile or creativity in midfield
The less said about the front 3.....

Weak spots? Lmaoo do you know how many changes we made? We didn’t play our strong lineup. Should we have won with these players yes on paper we should have but it happens. This is one of the strongest squads we have ever had. Our defense has been immense with Diaz. This season our defense is outstanding, so is our midfield. Only weakness we have is our strikers. We have none.
 
I'm not flapping but that was one we really should be winning and you could see that counterattack goal a mile away. Slip up against villa and/or Chelsea and all of a sudden we could find ourselves in the shit
 
Crap performance but it was important to give the likes of kev a rest today with the run of fixtures coming up.

Ultimately a freak result...2 shots on goal and 2 goals for them.

Hopefully a wake up call for some and roll on Wednesday

I have just rewound to look at this.. and it is very, very, very tight. Zinchenko is the player possibly playing him on but have paused it on numerous occasions and I really can’t tell but veering to the decision he was offside.

No excuses.. but surprised it wasn’t at least checked as it is certainly tight.

I'm not trying to excuse what was a terrible performance. But I think if they check that the goal gets disallowed.
