Leeds (H) | Post Match Thread

No way we should have lost that game, but it's the price you pay for rotation.

As frustrating as it is, that was a game we could afford to lose. We've built up that luxury. The next few are all must win. But now, we must win them.

Serious question marks over our forwards. The midfield has been bailing them out all season. Whoever we bring in during the summer, we absolutely need a top class striker.

Fuck me its a loss but still at least 8 points clear. United still have spurs, Leeds, Liverpool...

Rested for Wednesday. A win on Wednesday and next weekend and this will be forgotten about. Up the blues!

A result like that will happen literally once in a blue moon. We just have to move on... in years gone by us blues took defeat better than we have today - we’ve got a bit soft - you can’t win every week. A few players will have cast doubts in Peps mind today.

Sterling was shit and hasn’t been at it for a while but the way some of our “ fans “ talk about him is a fuckin disgrace

the seasons we’ve had our most success he’s been a huge part of and the disrespect is a joke

pep gambled and it didn’t pay off, Defeat is so much harder to take now than when we were shit, I know it shouldn’t but that’s ruined my weekend

We made 7 changes. We pretty much always make between 5 and 7 changes. We play Dortmund midweek and the FA Cup Semi at the weekend. We have a large lead in the PL and will have felt we could have won with that team, which was a fair assumption. Shit happens. But don’t give me this shit that it was the wrong team. It was absolutely the correct team to field.
You say that given they played with ten throughout the second half?
Don't think so mate.

Could be a busy summer. We are clearly not going to just shell out for a top striker which we desperately need. A couple may need to go as well.

Mendy needs to go, had plenty of time since his injury to prove his worth, if he had, he'd be starting as often as KDB.

Sterling's form has dropped off a cliff, time to cash in?

Do we know what to do with Jesus? He's not an out and out striker.

Overall too many changes today, Pep seemed happy to give that one up and save everyone for Wednesday.
How do you cash a n on someone who's form has dropped off a cliff?

So had this out of blue result with a massively changed team. Also we did lose to 10 men team at our home.

I guess we take this setback and move on and go on a winning streak for one of the most important week in the history of this club. Thats atleast I would hope for the next couple of matches.
