I think we should start with Jesus in this leg.

They didn't like it when he came on and mithered the fuck out of them in the first leg.

It was clear they arent great at playing out from the back and it looked to me like there were definite mistakes in them.

I like his pressing and energy especially in tough away games.

The false 9 sketch is ok against lesser opponents, but imo it just means one of our best players is not playing in his proper position when we do it.

i agree. He made a difference for me when he came on.

Midfield is the difficult choice for us. I thought they played around our midfield a bit too easily in the last game. Rodri and Gundogan looked a bit slow first leg as they can against the quicker sides and KDB in midfield with them two would be a risk without two absolute workhorses around him. I’m not sure of the answer though.

I think we will have to gamble that our talent is better than theirs and we will score goals so don’t go too defensive.

Think this will be the side, hard to leave out Bernardo as he gives our midfield energy but the false 9 didn’t work last time. There is always a surprise in a Pep line up especially in the Champions league so I wonder what he’s got planned.

Personally, nothing against Gundo at this point but I wouldn’t play him, I’d play Bernie in the middle with either of Raz or Mahrez on the wing, but that isn’t going to happen as Pep will def start him.
