In normal circumstances I’d take our position over theirs all day long.

45 minutes is a long time in football and if we score, it changes the complexion of everything.

That said, our record of coming from being is nothing short or appalling. I can see a similar outcome to the Leeds match at the weekend.

Dortmund are a well organised team,it is going to be hard to get back into this game without a bit of luck.
I think pg needs to make changes at halftime ,bring sterling & jesus on & go for it, leave to the last 20 mins & panic play will set in. Big 2nd half coming up ,are we gonna be bottlers or the real thing ?

I’d gamble on Ferran in the middle. He makes clever runs that the lads hardly ever pick out. I wonder if Kev can spot it if he comes on.

Either that or Jesus. Zinchenko isn’t utilising the ball properly when he’s forward. I’d rather Cancelo but Walker has been caught out a bit tonight.

Still believe in the lads. Time to put their money where their mouths are. I know some luck is needed in the competition but quality has to shine through at some point.
