Excellent performance especially second half. Was horrified to see FFS step up but all credit to him he showed big cahoonas and took it well. Got the impression that was his Stuart Pearce moment. That final attack when Stirling was put through just illustrates that he is so indecisive in front of goal and should never be considered as a centre forward.

Absolutely brilliant game. 90% of the match day thread need banning before the semis I couldn't believe how many suggested we were playing shit just because we were getting beat. Pathetic.

With the exception of Rodri in the first half who was shit before putting in a much much better second half performance, everybody was on it for 90 minutes, even if we had somehow gone out there was no sign of a bottle job similar to previous seasons tonight.

Dortmund are a bloody good side on their day and they put in 2 great performances, there's a reason why most of Europe want half of their players. It was never going to be easy but we dominated throughout, played our natural game which isn't always the case, controlled it kept the tempo up which was easier after the rest vs Leeds and we saw dortmund tire and we capitalised on it. Perfect execution of the game plan. That was a brilliant 2 legged European performance. Will need that again and a bit more against PSG.
