How many trophies will we win?

Not that I thought winning everything was a goer, but I'm really hacked off about how the chance has gone West this evening.. as T S Eliot might've put it, 'This is the way the quadruple ends/ Not with a bang but a whimper..'

And yes, we had far too many 'Hollow Men' in the team selected tonight.. poor performance, with a few exceptions, by Pep and the lads tonight..

To win the CL treble you need to play the strongest side available in every comp and hope for the best.

In future years I think we should prioritise the CL and league over the domestic cups as other teams do. Otherwise the manager has no right to complain about fixture congestion.

The OP had every right to make a thread about a possible quadruple. It doesn't change the fucking future. Saw one today about players not winning anything. Kane and Son were mentioned and people were saying delete the thread , why post this etc . Ffs grow a pair. What we write does not change anything

We could easily have put out a team today that would have won while still resting player's.

Strange one today that. KDB ran himself into the ground in Dortmund, Pep makes 8 changes putting us at a serious disadvantage but plays him! Him being out for longer than a game or two at this stage of the season would be a disaster

Difficult to argue with that. The only thing I will say is that the injury was unfortunate. Had it been a muscle injury I'd have been less than impressed but a rolled ankle can happen at any time.

I think we've had a good go at juggling all four competitions but now it's time to prioritise the league and give the CL a good go. The lack of KDB may kill us off in Europe but if we go full strength for the league then it should not matter. Whatever happens, if we win the league then it's a great season regardless of anything else.

As crazy as it seems, today actually highlighted how well we have done this season and how much we can still achieve when we have no goalscorer.

In hindsight, to think we could win all four trophies when our top goalscorer is Ilkay Gundogan is ridiculously naive and I was one who fell for it through blue tinted glasses.

If we can win the league and league cup and get far in the CL, then we will have had a great season.

Only the press were ever bigging this up,99.9% safe in the knowledge they could knock us when we 'failed'.

The Rags are also having a field day.....the irony of their season being completely lost on the arrogant cunts.
