Feels to me like United, Liverpool and Arsenal tried to blindside us by giving us a short ultimatum - join up now or miss out forever. In a panic, we agreed but soon realised our mistake and then sensed the opportunity to bring it all down after seeing the outrage to the plans. Just my take anyway.I wonder if we left for more than just the PR/Fans. I wonder if in the ESL conversations it was clear that we were going to be treated like 2nd class citizens by the Glaziers, FSG, Perez, Barca, etc. (Maybe Chelsea were also destined to be 2nd class). Maybe we felt then that this was actually worse long term then the promises seemed before pen was put to paper. Just a thought.
Malcolm Glazer? As such I don’t actually believe it
They’ve forgot already on Sky.Hopefully history will remember who pulled out first and brought the house down. This will be one very, very good documentary some day
I thought his plea to the English clubs was telling today, he already knew City were out imo.Did cellophane welcome all the clubs back or just city?
if just city that I think that VERY telling.
Ceferin will be happy to welcome back Agnelli, Lev and the rest. he was very happy to work tight with them against City for years, not much changed.
