I really don't see how that's ever a red card. He's gone to smash the ball clear, he's not been reckless and dived in he's made a genuine attempt the guy simply beat him to the ball, if stones is an inch to the right he misses the guys thigh still takes him out gets a booking and there's no debate, there's too much emphasis on whether there is contact and that automatically equating to a red. It's a clear booking but it's only a booking.

Ignore the first minute and that incident, that was the best we've been for a long time first half, looked slick and fluid shame it's been ruined.

Mahrez has to be the sacrifice here, the midfield 3 can provide the legs control and energy and foden and jesus can occupy either flank taking it in turns with gundogan to offer a threat upfront.

Fine margins, he want to smash the ball out but studs out and caught the player - def a red, unfortunate and not intentional but a red.

Really rash mindless challenge by stones. He was going wide. Silly, but the ref was correct imo.

The most important thing was to not get a red card in that game as we are much better than them. Completely unacceptable from Stones. Hopefully we can beat them with 10 men.

Stones gave VAR a decision to make , and they took the opportunity to stitch us up , terrible 45 mins from Stones , first goal was naivety red card stupidity , that cock up for England has affected him he hasnt looked the same player since
We need to sit back contain them and we still have enough on the break to finish them off , just what we need playing with ten men for half the game a few days before a cup final , typical City :)

Mahrez has gifted the ball back to them far too easily on a couple of occasions. I love gabbys work rate but he isn't a threat at all at the moment. Foden has been superb.
