Cheltenham Town (A) - Virtual Tickets

For real ale I'd try;
Port St Beerhouse, Bar Fringe, Crown and Kettle, The Castle and Mackie Mayor - these are fairly close to each other Northern Quarter side of town. Marble Arch prob 15min walk out but worth a visit.
Also Britons Protection, Peveril of the Peak and Rain Bar are near each other off Oxford Rd and all decent. Lass O'Gowrie also good for ale
Main shopping/Town Hall area has Crown and Anchor, Mr Thomas's, Sams and Albert Chop Houses plus Rising Sun which are all good for ale, or were before lockdown.
Not to everyones taste but the Wetherspoons pubs usually have a good ale selection and will be cheaper than most of the aboce.
All the best for the season finale.
That's brilliant. Thank you

Well done Cheltenham. Pleased for you all, post pics if you all turn up at the ground celebrating.
I think there were a few fireworks in the rec next to the ground but pretty well decided no one would go to the ground. A few locals might have gone but generally encouraged by the club to stay away.

Really pleased for all the Cheltenham fans. Enjoy the promotion. Glad my virtual ticket helped. Good luck next season. Hope you really enjoy your night out in Manchester when you come up to visit.

You’ve nailed this. Would add Marble Arch is a must for real ale lovers and The Vine and City Arms, plus Edinburgh Castle worth a visit.

Well done Cheltenham.

Forgot the Vine and City Arms, both near Town Hall and good for ale, especially the City Arms. They are next door to each other with a wetherspoons next to them which usually has a good ale choice on. Not been in Edinburgh castle since it reopened due to lockdown but is on to do list.
Congratulations on your promotion and all the best next season.
