Totally deluded on redcafe. All they go on about is how much money we have spent. Do they ever look at their own finances & how much they spunk away on transfers, wages, pianos & shit players
Yes... it's strange the way the way they go on about City's spending. They don't seem to realise that they have spent more than City over the past three seasons.

Some of their fans really are so bitter and twisted...it gets worse after each CL victory. Judging by the latest comments I fear mass suicides if City actually do go on and win the CL.

On the positive side though, it has to be said that I spoke to a couple of United fans recently who were very complimentary about the quality of City's football which was good to hear for a change.

Thought I would have a look at that site. Have a read of their 'If the worse happens' thread. Sums them up perfectly. None of them know any city fans apparently. The irony in having no connection to the club yet having the gall to call us plastic is hilarious. Its as if they are typing shite to try and convince themselves its true.

I was a printer for 17 years started in letterpress jobbing, then 4 colour letterpress printing the Pilkington tile brochure, then continuous stationary, the photo gravure 7 colour printing McVities Digestive and Hobnob packets and the like.

I`d almost forgotten

Worked as a casual on the Guardian pre 1977, 2 to 4 nights a week. I use to get paid more for a night than I got for a week printing in my day job. £144 for a Saturday night if I remember. I`d never seen so much money.

My dad could work Boxing Day night at the Mirror - the old Thomson House/later Maxwell in the early 80s and get £800 for the night.

If not, the NGA just wouldn't start the presses.

They were great days, used to also do the Sat night casuals, clock in at 6pm and disappear to the Hammer or Crown and Kettle until 10pm, that £100 per shift was needed to pay for the night out

I remember early 80s when we started printing the NoW, we got £200 extra. Then it all came tumbling down with the wapping picketing and Eddie Shah

They’ve spent over a billion since Ferguson left and haven’t even challenged for the title once.

£89m for Pogba (plus upwards of £41m over the period of the contract to Raiola) and £80m for Maguire... that’s £210m for two players!.. they could have signed four players for the same price like we do!

Di Maria, £59.7m for 32 games (and he’s still a cracking player); Depay, still only 27 and only played 53 games for them; Lukaku, £75m (plus £15m add-ons) for 96 games and he’s still only 27; Sanchez, £30.6m and £350k/week (which they were still paying him for a year while he was at Inter) for 45 games.

Their wage bill is bigger than ours and they’ve got dross like James and McTominay starting games for them. How much does De Gea earn a week?!

And they’re talking about City spending money?

Our best player this season cost us £20m, with a flake on top!

Sooooo much pain, hurt and salt in one place!
They really are in agony, aren’t they?

Poor little darlings, so starved of success their whole lives. It’s just not fair that likkle City are now winning trophies.

Sounds like there are some top reds assembling on Sunday before the game to participate in some direct action against the Glazers
What will that be.. please sell, oh go on pretty please?! To which the reply will be fuck off we are making a mint here

What a fantastic 24 hours that Sunday/Monday were.

Our granddaughter was born at 12:30 the following afternoon., so it’s always easy to remember the anniversary of the Sick Swan, not that I need reminding, of course.
