Exactly, those of us who have been going home and away for a lot,lot longer than the last decade know what it means.Well said that's just how I feel its like being a city fan for 50 years
1So if we win tomorrow, and the rags only draw on Sunday how many points do we need to win the league
Is there a guard of honour tomorrow? I must have missed thatWe have enough points already FFS
I’m actually particularly looking forward to watching us relatively stress free tomorrow after the high stakes drama of midweek and the Tuesday to come, and our alternative line up. Cannae wait!No lose really Sunday. United lose, we win the league, providing we beat Palace which isn’t a given. United win & Liverpool are pretty much consigned to the Thursday night cup..
Mathematically, however, a win then they draw, pretty much guarantees with our goal difference....

*Scratches head.So convinced that's its over that I hope we play we weakest team possible and I'll also be supporting Utd v Liverpool. Defeat leaves them struggling for CL which is anout an 80M hit to their finances.
No, the head to rule rule only comes in if two teams finish level on points, goal difference and goals scored - previously if that happened there would be a play off game to decide the outcome.Question: didn't PL make a rule that if two teams have equal points, than the team which beats the other wins the league, goal diff does not count? If this is true, MU wins the league if points are equal to city.

If we win a draw pretty much does the same thing, no blue should ever be wishing they win.
We should nail our game tomorrow, then we pretty much have 4 games off to concentrate on 2 games.
Oh by the way the lowest we can now finish is second.
Meanwhile Klopp has thrown in the towel for next ten years ... when asked about the possibility of us winning the title at their weekend game ...
