Sergio Aguero leaves City after 10 years

If we can keep him this sharp and lower his wages a touch to reflect his new role in the side can we not keep him a couple more years?

He'll still score goals, a lot more when he's around Kev, Foden and Bernardo etc...

Surely we can offer better terms than Barcelona (who are fucked financially).

Just feels like there's still a role for him here.
Yep, this...he does what no else can do.
He was just interviewed, sounded like he would like to stay??

This is his last season as a City player, so let's enjoy it while it lasts and leave it at that.

Can’t lose Aguero without getting someone world class in. Torres has potential but he’s nowhere near good enough yet. If we don’t get Haaland to replace him it’ll be a huge mistake.

Aguero is pretty much irreplaceable. I wish we could keep him another season.

As always he shows why we miss him when he doesnt play...none of our other forwards score that goal besides maybe Foden.....Sergio is still the best forward at the club by quite some way...

The issue for Sergio is that Pep wants to play a different way (and in my mind always has wanted to but Sergios brilliance infront of goal has made him up until this season almost undroppable).....Pep has used Sergios absence to show the way he wants the team to adapt for at least this season...IF we do get Haaland then Pep will have to change it again and go back tot he way we played in his first title win..

Id love to see Kun play one more season for us but no way that is going to happen...Kun knows that he can still be first choice or at least get a decent amount of games wherever he goes.....he clearly doesnt want to play second fiddle to anyone and why should he tbh? I think the timing to get Haaland however is just to good for the club to resist and risk losing out on him..

Question is however, what if we dont get Haaland? DO we go another season relying on Jesus and/or playing the false 9....its served us very well this season but football and Pep is always adapting

That is solely down to him and whether he will accept that
