Do those that turn up for a " welcome" not care about watching the game?

I’m not risking not seeing the game if I can’t get in any pubs or can’t get home in time (plus I’ve not been vaccinated yet and I’m not sure distancing will be easy) so I’m not going down tonight.

But for those that do, think back to the 2008 derby at Old Trafford - we were impeccable that day, let’s be so again tonight. Show support but don’t be a dick in doing so.

Glad you also mentioned no littering because I can’t fucking stand littering! Take your shit with you Blues, don’t be a tosser, Keep Manchester Tidy.

Hopefully GMP are prepared if city fans do turn up as I can see Utd fans turning up too and causing issues to make city look bad.

we haven’t seen the last of utds pointless protest. They will disrupt as much as possible now especially whilst we lift trophies & celebrate

I think even the rags can see it would be unwise to protest at our game tonight. Whatever sympathy they may have in the more sycophantic sections of the media, this would look small minded and petulant in the extreme to the vast majority of reasonably intelligent people. Like a screaming child throwing his rattle out of the pram because he wants what the other kid has.
I won't hold my breath though.

You might be able to see it but it's simply not going to happen. It's just another in a very long line of Internet theories that never ever actually happen in reality. Imagine the two clubs were reversed, would you as a city fan wanting the owners out go down to old Trafford on a champions league semi final game to try and make some kind of point? Or a more likely scenario, would you or any blue you know be prepared to go down to the next old Trafford protest undercover to cause trouble and have it reflect poorly on united? It's sheer lunacy. I really don't get what world some people live in where they think this is something that's going to happen.

Give even those cretins some credit. They won't turn up as rags they will pretend to be City fans as they want to cause us grief not themselves. A bit like when away fans used to infiltrate the home end in the days of pay at the turnstiles then kick off once inside.
