Revenge for the cup defeat .

Side will be keen and we have a days extra rest and Chelsea will be deflated if they lose to Real.

I’d play as close to that lineup as possibly Pep can. Allowing for tiredness. Maybe bringing Rodri in for Fern.
Lay down a marker.
Show that the FA Cup was an anomaly and put doubt in their heads for the CL final, shout they get there.

Pep will go all out to beat them. Two or three changes I would guess. May be Rodri, Laporte coming in. Aguero/Sterling to add some freshness to front three.

Ederson

Cancelo
Stones
Laporte
Zinchenko

KDB*
Rodri
Bernardo*

Torres
Aguero*
Sterling

*SUBS: Gundo/Foden/Jesus

Winning the league this weekend doesn't matter. We'll win it anyway, BUT if Chelsea beats Madrid, I'd go with our main XI:

- To show them we can beat them when we go with our best squad, and that'll be the result at the CL final. It gives us an edge mentally(even more if we beat them comfortably), and even better we'll celebrate the PL title in their faces.
- If we beat them, Chelsea needs to go full strength for the next 3 weeks against Leicester (PL and FA Cup final), Arsenal and Aston Villa(away) to secure their CL spot. Those are really difficult matches, so we will have the edge physically.

If Madrid beats Chelsea, then I don't care, rotate those who are physically tired.

Ederson
Cancelo
Stones
Laporte
Ake
Rodri
Gundo
Bernardo
Torres
Jesus
Sterling

Well, I think it's very important psychologically to beat this lot, and show that the semi-final no-show was an aberration that simply doesn't represent what we're about these days. Pep will rotate — obviously — but even a defence with Cancelo, Ake, Laporte and an attack with Kun, Jesus and Raheem is rather good, isn't it?

The alty fan is the ref.
I still remember the game against Chelsea when conte was their manager.
Nothing will ever convince me that he didn't purposely cheat in that game.

We have strength in depth, and our players from last night an extra day of rest. I wouldn't totally rotate, because I want to give them a touch up after the SF, we can rest after the win, up until the Champs Final.

Could be a stalemate. If Chelsea get through to CL final they may just want a result . A draw might suit them. Both sides wont want to come out of the game disadvantaged. City to be the more positive against the bus and hopefully break them down.

The more I think about it the more I want Madrid in the final not Chelsea, then go pretty much full strength at the weekend and get the game won.

Pep will want the league done ASAP so we can ignore everything else and just prepare for the final. however, if Chelsea win tonight I think Pep goes full rotation with a Palace lineup and doesn't care about the result just so that Tuchel can't learn anything from that encounter.

We've got 3 weeks until the final, everybody is going to have to play some minutes to keep them ticking over anyway so we can get the job done later against Newcastle or brighton if needs be.

I don't think we need the confidence boost of a win when we will be favourites for the final but if we go full strength against Chelsea after they reach the final and lose its a big psychological blow, if we win its still good analysis for Tuchel to use in an attempt to come up with something to stop us in those 3 weeks inbetween.

If Chelsea go out tonight though then it's a mixture of Palace and Psg and we try wrap the league up early.

Choose the side depending on how they fare against Real Madrid. If Chelsea progress, then choose a side similar to the one fielded at Palace and keep the CL team fresh and that style of play unfamiliar to them. If Real go through, it can be mixed up more.

Overthinking it mate.
Let's just go large.
Win the game.
Win the title.
Keep the rent boys slogging it out for top four place.
