Show of support planned before PSG and Chelsea games

Kudos to all that braved horrendous weather to give the team such fantastic support pre and post game. I expressed my concerns beforehand but that was the worry the rags might hijack it and the fear a few Blues might have been sniped coming and going. Give yourselves all a pat on the back you did a fantastic job.

Got a few pictures. Will post them tomorrow. And my honest views on the welcome.

Credit to all the City fans who did the welcome today. Standing in the unrelenting rain, hail stones, freezing cold, for hours, not taking shelter or moving, chanting City songs, and waiting for the coach to arrive. Everyone there today was soaked to the skin. But they stayed, and they gave Pep and the players a marvellous welcome.
Respect to you all Pal.

So the Champions League Final is a Saturday night, 29th May 2021.

Win or lose surely City, Council, City fans have to do something in Manchester to remember this by and to thank the team? A few lucky City fans will see the final games but don't we need something for all the fans together?

Alternative date: When City get the Premier League trophy which I assume will be Sunday 23rd May, Etihad, 6pm. If there's nothing planned, then I will be going down to the ground that day.

Not convinced with Covid that MCFC / City council are going to do something official, so we as fans should organise something. All Mancs down to the ground on Sunday the 23rd?

Ideas / thoughts?

What will the Covid restrictions be by the time the final is? Pubs allowed groups of 6 inside, but what will the restrictions be outdoors? I saw a bloody 3000 people rave in Liverpool at the weekend which was authorized so why not something like a big fanzone at the ground or in town? Outdoors, big huge screen, ticketed, beer stands and food, would be absolutely amazing.
This needs to be celebrated and I prey something is put in place.

Great to see the photos and videos. Credit to all the fans who managed to get down last night and support the team. Good for the players and staff to see how much we care. As a fan base it is fair to say we haven't been too bothered about the CL before, but last night will have shown them we are after it now and behind them every step of the way.

gov.uk says gatherings of 30 or more outdoors will still be illegal after the 17th May.
