Jose Mourinho | Sacked by Roma (p34)

In fairness, he did have a very good season with Real when they won the title with 100 points, and he did win a League Cup and title double in his second spell at Chelsea. He has a short shelf life and when results dry up he can't navigate out of difficult spells and then he digs his own grave by falling out with players.
This.
Well said.

And didn't he once describe Wenger as an " expert in failure " ( which was truly fantastic to read as Wenger is such a **** ) or words to that effect ?

The man is a fucking genius, and expert in financial planning when growth is the prime objective .

These clubs never learn
I have some Roma supporter friends both in the UK and in Rome and they're seriously not happy with his appointment. While Roma-Inter rivalry isn't as big as it is with Napoli/Lazio/Juventus, it's still a thing, and they don't see Mourinho as a manager to take the club forwards, and think he'll just do what he did with Tottenham, basically nothing and cost them a lot of money.

£30m payoff in 2 years for being shit. He's running a right racket isn't he. Probs made over £100m from being shit and getting sacked
Before the United job he was all about winning trophies, now he is just another old git on the managerial Merry go round maximising his income.
