United thread 2020/21

Anti-Glazer united fan at work told me today that when they became a PLC they were spending their own money. He also tells me KDB can't be world class because he plays for likkle citeh. Question: does he know less about football or business?

After they became a PLC they weren't spending their own money, they were spending the shareholders money.
They weren't crying when Michael Knighton was doing keepy uppies before firing it into the net in front of a roaring Stretford End. As it happened he never managed to buy the club but at the time they were all for becoming a PLC.

How many police do you think were on duty that day in Trafford? My guess would be 10. They would be doing other routine and urgent jobs, burglary, robbery, domestic violence. Oh and when they are sent to the swamp everyone moans because their burglary/robbery is not being dealt with.
Yes they knew there was a demo planned so they could have brought officers in on their day off. The trouble with that is they haven't any money to pay overtime.
If they arrest someone they have to take him to a police station so that is at least one less officer to deal with the rioters.
Why do posters seem to think they know how to police the streets better than the cops?
Well the cops don't seems to do a very good job policing the streets in my opinion, they seems to be plenty of them for minor incidents , especialy when it comes to petty motoring offences, but when serious issues arise, there seems to be a distinct lack of them or more importantly a desire to sort out the issue.

Now moaning about the fixture schedule despite it being their poor security being responsible for the Dippers postponement and despite being 6-2 up he picked a full strength team v Roma. Amateurish.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Manchester United's fixture schedule over the coming week is "physically impossible" after his side reached the Europa League final

That's the end of their what seems like around a three season steak of away wins (or was it undefeated away?) It will be kept going but converting it to x games undefeated away in domestic competitions. Let's hope, like Liverpool's similar undefeated at home streak, they lose the next half a dozen away games.

If I could be arsed it'd be interesting to see how many games they've played since the end of lockdown one compared to us....I'd guess they'd need a few more periods of 4 games in 7/8 days to catch up.

As it is the games mean fuck all anyway, they're not winning the league not missing top 4 and the Thursday night cup final is far enough away that a quick run of games now are irrelevant.

They should think themselves lucky there's so many dead games, we very rarely have that luxury.

In short fuck off moaning you red cunts and control the scum of society that want UMS out.

Posted Sunday on Redcafe....

This protest was absolutely brilliant strategy.

1. This is the closest game in England to El Classico, so most likely to be covered by global media.
2. They actually lulled people into complacency during last week’s protest outside Old Trafford that was peaceful and relatively sparsely attended
3. They protested at the hotel where the players sleep before home games as well as at the ground.
4. Once inside the ground they were just fans - a little vandalism, filmed as happy to be there, stealing a corner flag and balls.
5. They did enough to get the game canceled.
6. Now, the rescheduled game will have a huge spotlight on it . The Glazers will have to do something substantial before it like make a commitment to ownership change, spending etc or that game too might be in jeopardy.
7. The glee, vandalism and little bit of rioting made our primarily adrenaline-fueled global fan base identify with the rioters.
8. It is done on a game that doesn’t matter for us having basically secured CL and 2nd place but one that Liverpool, our main rivals, desperately needs to win and thus messes with their heads.
9. It is very close to the end of season and summer’s transfer window so the ownership will have to spend during it or fear even worse stuff.
10. And it shows up Liverpool’s own protest as being relatively half-baked.

My salute to you all, I have never been more proud to be a Red!
Can anyone make sense of point 7 for me?

View attachment 16110Can see it all coming to a head next week :) I honestly don’t think they’d be doing this if 4th place wasn’t sewn up....let’s beat Chelsea and get the popcorn out
I think the size of the 'Important: No violence allowed' message says it all.
If it's important, then make sure your fans see it!
But, of course, you don't want them to see it do you, but you'll hide behind a 'we clearly stated no violence' with a staggeringly arrogant lack of responsibility when it all kicks off ... again.

We decide when you play? Oh do fuck off!

Who was the rag player who was making the extremely ostentatious Sign of the Cross as he came out onto the pitch.
I have nothing against any player praying before a match but why have to do it in front of the cameras 'with the 'hey, look at me posing' it all seems completely put on and completely insincere as it most certainly was when Beckham had a short spell of doing it.
God must be really into cheating and diving!
