Yesterday was a great chance for our fringe players to make a case to be considered for the cup final team , who stepped up ? Sterling slightly improved but still nowhere near his best form , Ake was solid , Jesus ran his heart out as usual ,but Cancelo,Mendy,Torres,Aguero did nothing to enhance their chances
The three points we need will now require our strongest team in one of the last three games , so lets put this to bed at StJamesPark look back on our title winning season with pride and look forward to our first ever Champs league final.
It could be worse, we could be a Dipper.

You have got a legitimate claim here. We will win the league but you are right in that pep has made a hash of closing it out due to his team selection. League should have been over after Leeds.
Leeds? The game was between two Champions League quarter final matches!
Incredible.

Unless GMP don't feel like doing their job again and letting the Gary Neville fanclub run riot and getting another game called off then the Rags aren't going to win 3 games in 6 days. They don't have the squad depth to do so against Villa, Leicester & the other Red Shirt Mafia team from down the road.

Could win it today if the Rags lose to Villa.
They could only match us if the draw to Villa but our goal difference is far superior.
If not we could win it on Tuesday when they play Leicester.
If not we could win it on Thursday when the player the dirty, thieving, murderous, scummy, bin dippings, scouse fuckers.
If not we get a chance to win it ourselves on Friday night against the Toon.
If not it will happen the week after, we all need to chill out.
They have 15 points to play for and they need at least 13 points and for us to lose every single game.

Chance to win the league with 3 games to spare, won the league cup, FA cup semi finalists, and champions league finalists.
All the above with Sergio out for most of the season and no pre season to speak of.

How many of the professional bed wetters would have said “no thanks, not good enough” if offered the above In August?

Football is cyclical and one day in the future we will be shit again, struggling to make top half of the premiership, fighting relegation.

Think back to these days then and ask yourself “was i a spoilt bastard?”
Bang on.

It’s frustrating because we want every blue to enjoy these times. Let’s face it they can’t get any better. But it’s not our choice it’s theirs. People can’t be persuaded to be happy.

There are always people that want more, always people that want it “just to be over” so they can start fretting about next season, always people who are unhappy because they can see an error and finally always people who picked City in the first place because of their underdog status and are dying to moan for whatever reason.

I have learned the hard way that people can’t be told and can’t be changed It’s just in their makeup and Bluemoon is a release for the anger disappointment and fears so who are we to deny them that?

That said I am guilty of getting pulled into some posts that I find unbelievable, particularly the anti Pep stuff. But you know how many times I have changed a person’s mind? Almost never. Posters come on here to say what they think not to be persuaded they might be wrong.

I like to think my opinion can be changed by a good post..something I haven’t thought of, but so much of what is posted on here is subjective and personal. We end up talking about the poster rather than the post.

We can only concentrate on enjoying these times ourselves or we will be guilty of missing out too as we naively try to tell people it doesn’t have to be this way.

Every team in Europe would bite your hand off to be in the position we are in.

True , some posters on here reckon we are turning into Rags , which is the ultimate insult for our loyal support , our recent successes have raised the bar and the expectations have also now risen. We are not spoilt we know we can do better at times and this forum is here to vent our views, quite sure the majority of our support do not expect trophies or taken them for granted especially our "legacy" support (hate that terminology)

this and pep knows it,,,all these on here moaning about the team selection versus chelsea would be jumping out of the windows if we had not rotated and a couple of key players were ruled out until the end of the month, pep knows what the deal is he's been their before

They'd need to score a least 3 goals without reply today to even get a glimmer of a chance of overhauling us. Everyone knows it's over

If you are so confident United will take 9 points from the next three games in five days I have a question for you...how much have you bet on it?
Out of curiosity I looked to see the odds for what he predicated. For United to win all 3 games and us to draw or lose to Newcastle gets you odds of 51/1. Lump on if that’s how you feel mate

They won't be allowed to loose they will get 3 in 3, they are still and always be the fa & premier League darlings no matter what shit they have created this last couple of weeks...no points deduction even tho the rules themselves say in black and white shows what the penelty should of been imposed for non fulfillment of fixture

He won’t because he doesn’t really think it he’s just venting I expect.

Easier for him to just bet on United winning the league...100/1 on skybet

I'm not great at maths but if the rags lose today are we champions?

I think the Rags will win today. But winning today, Leicester away on Tuesday and then Liverpool at home on Thursday is a huge ask. United rely on pressing and energy. At the most optimistic (for them) its 2 wins and a draw. Personally I think it’s a win today and 2 x draws.
