That's because they get the ball forward quickly and force mistakes rather than trying to be clever and seeing possession as the ultimate goal. They know that a defender or official will screw up and they take advantage when it happens. They can't be clever as they don't have the players, but they can be strong and direct. They aren't the best of the rest, but they're the most successful of the rest.

city have been short of strikers for years and losing aguero and replacing him will mean the same thing

I can see them being 4th next season. Liverpool will have Van Dijk back so I suspect them and Chelsea to be our main rivals next year. This season normally would have seen us on 90+ points but due to the false start due to covid and the last resumption of the champions league meant we were always going to have a really bad start to the season. It won't be the case next season.

A lot of our players will be going to the Euros; more than most other clubs, I suspect, so a relatively short time off for them.
