Works on matchdays in corporate areas £ for £ have we ever made a better signing. Immense in 98/9, and to think Pollock was relieved of captaincy to stop hom getting "involved". Once Morrison took that armband we were led by a warrior.

The bond between the fans and players in that 98/99 season was probably the strongest I've ever known. The atmosphere in that play off semi against Wigan also really was something else!(only time I ever got on the pitch at Maine Road)
Andy Mossison was a big tough dude you really wouldn't fuck with for sure.
However ,he also had a very sensitive side shown especially by that lovely touching bit of 'tonsil tennis' with Mr Collymore at Craven Cottage that time!
