Why do people keep saying Chelsea losing is bad for us, it doesn't make the slightest difference what happens in both our games today, some people look for something to be frightened of, grow a fucking set ffs

There's a couple of posters on here who have shown themselves up with similar nonsense. Basically saying that if Chelsea qualified for the CL today, they wouldn't be trying as hard next saturday evening. Fucking hilarious.

I don’t see it as extra incentive for Chelsea if they miss out today I see it as more added pressure.

This. When you're down it's quite hard to build you back up. It is a long season. Frank Lampards team lost a lot of ground earlier in the season. So maybe them being out of CL is justified.
If they win today theyll have a little more confidence. But I still think we will have more know how than they will in any case .

Very enjoyful first half! Great football from us and has a superb rhythm.

Now put Silva for Sterling in the 60 minute for him to play some too and put Foden in Sterling's place. Sterling is not as abysmal as he was in previous games but we should NOT have him in the starting lineup for CL final he seems to lack any essence in all his tries.

I agree with most people that Sterling looks knackered and in need of a good break and pre-season, but I don't need any player in the squad going in for 50/50s a week before a final in a meaningless game when we are 2-0 up! To me that's a sign of maturity and professionalism.
