That is brilliant. Joe Cole is right. A player would only chose Utd over City for money now. At City you have more time to settle, easier fans, a far better manager, far superior football and a better chance to win multiple trophies.
Yeah, I expect no less from Ferdinand, but Humphries trying to turn it into absolute mockery is the real disgrace on that.

Villa fans, lol, who gives a fùck about them (still dining out on their EC a generation after), as for liverpool fans, just remind them a Volcano more or less halved their crowds as flights from Scandanavia were cancelled.

Also, ask them to check their average attendances for the last 15 years or so (before COVID), they might see their crowds are the ones being overstated in their tiny minds.

I remember in 1996 a bloke from the supporters club driving down to Villa Park in the week & getting 75 tickets dotted around the Villa ends cos we couldn’t get any more than n the away end.

The Telegraph TV what to watch is recommending The United Way on Sky Documentaries. Busby babes, 1999 etc, no controversies.
Fucking twats. They are already trying to stay relevant in Champions League week with some Piss can doco about how he dodged our jelly and ice cream parties.

Take it you haven’t got it on record then ! That post made me laugh :-)

Checked out the papers and headlines for tomorrow. Plenty of praise for City, Pep and Foden which is nice to see.

One thing that's noticeable is that there is nothing from the club promoting UAE, or Sheikh Mansour, which is really as it should be, but we're constantly told MCFC is a sportswashing, softpower operation, well where is the propaganda because I don't see it? Worst soft-power operation in history. It's almost as if it was none-existent.

They reduced away ticket numbers as they were parading the league cup trophy. I was in the Doug Ellis home end, which was packed with City fans. Was sat next to a young Villa fan who was moaning about all the City fans in their end; he got a shock when we scored the late winner!

So did Steve Lomas when Fans jumped out of the Villa end to chase him down, poor fcker shit himself not realising they are blues.

General consensus around an office full of Villa and Liverpool fans, is that the flights were paid by the club as we were struggling to sell our tickets and the club didn't want to be embarassed at our empty end in front of the world.
Cnuts
Free flights were announced days before the tickets even went on sale. Ram that down the fuckers throats.

When Villa last won the league and the European Cup the following year, our average crowd was higher than theirs.

Never underestimate the stupidity of those who would rather believe what they wish was true. Wasn't it Villa who couldn't sell 40,000 tickets for the home semi final in the league cup?

Obviously Sheikh Mansour is using ‘super’ soft power as a subtle way to show that he’s not personally linked to crimes against humanity that are far less than what other PL sponsors/owners should be cited for.

If the Rags are still the biggest team in the world then why did their fans riot, they know the writing is on the wall.
the defence was, debt, crumbling stadium, shit team, none of the things that sound like you are the biggest club in the world.
Mr Camelface has always been deluded, let him carry on, his pain and inability to see or accept the truth is entertaining and his obvious pain is quite addictive.

Pretty much like united themselves then. Guffawing to themselves so much about the idea of their noisy neighbours being more successful than them, that they forgot to do anything about it and now have protests because they are not as successful as us.

Cole is right though. If you want to win trophies, be improved as a player and break records, city over united every day.

But if you want to play for the club with the most number of tweets and 'fans' wearing knock off replica shirts in Indonesia, a distinct lack of silverware, who finished second thanks to some agreeable refereeing and var decisions, with boardroom strife and funding question marks abound, then raggy bound you are.

Kane can have his face on kids bedspreads the world over. Or he can win trophies. Depends what he wants from his career to be honest.

Rio is a f**king knobhead

I really dont understand why this drug cheat is given air time.
He is a cheat and there for not worth listening to.
There are plenty of good honest ex pros who should be employed not someone who brought shame onto football for being a drugs cheat.

If I was an ex pro I wont want to be working along a side drugs cheat. Knowing I have sweated blood sweat and tears , to stand next to someone who cheated. I couldnt dont that unless its common place in football and all footballers are using drugs.

The fact that he is employed sort of sends out a signal that football doesnt take drug cheating seriously. Hence no one questions liverpool drop of, after 3 seasons of playing the same 15 at 100 mph. It's well know you have to come of peds after a 3 year cycle.

The silence is deafening and known cheats are employed in the press/media.
