OK a couple of things. First, Villareal totally deserved to win that game. They were far superior in extra time. United got what they deserved.
Second, will these goons on TV stop banging on about 2nd in the league being progress. United averaged less than 2 points per game in the league. It is very rare to get runners up in the premier league without getting at least 2 points per match. The only reason they're second is because the rest are shit.
Soljskaer is not a proper manager. This is as close as he'll get to the premier league. Liverpool will finish above them next season because they have a proper manager. Maybe Chelsea as well.
