They only say things like that on that station so people remember it and, when things like tonight happen, they get loads of people to phone in and give the station a load of money.
Goldstein is a decent broadcaster tbf but he is still at heart the living embodiment of the gloating plastic home counties red.
I remember him in the Spring of 2012 and he was coming out with the same shit back then. Did an entire show about how us not giving them a guard of honour at the Monday night derby would prove us to be ‘tinpot’.

Enter Vincent Kompany’s MASSIVE swede....

Yep, it's horseshit.

Carlos Bacca scored two goals in EL final for Sevilla but tonight he was slogging it out as a target man for balls in the air at age 34, despite it not really being his natural game.

It’s fuck all to do with sacrifice. They are a one dimensional counter attacking team, when faced with a team that sits in with two backs of four they have no idea what to do. They didn't pass the ball quick enough and had very little imagination how to change the game.
You hit it on the head. Their passing when not on a break is very slow. They'll get chances from their endless crossing but most defenses can just suck that up no probs.

Hoping we get Villareal in the CL draw for next seasons group stages - Spain might actually be on the Green list by then - and I already have somewhere to bed down for the night not so far away!

Winning the Europa League Final next season won't necessarily be an improvement. Or not a sizable one.

I think that whoever drops out of the C/L at the group stage should not go into Europa.
