Some strange reactions on here, tactics was all wrong from 1st minute we looked far far below average, just didn’t turn up. Fair play to Chelsea deserving winners IMO

The club gave him a clean slate, no expectations, its kind of like he is the boss of himself.
 
For me just reaching the final was the big psychological thing

Fair play to Chelsea they battled and deserved to win

Think this is the big thing. Some credit has to go to the opponents but it was the manner of defeat. Just so limp and ultimately lacking in real belief. Can't pin all that on the lineup imo, it wasn't exactly a total overhaul although it's easy with hindsight just to say in a high pressure situation don't add to that by changing what is comfortably your most settled side.
Any loss is disappointing but failing to do themselves justice will eat at the players for a while. What a letdown.
