Champions League Final | Post-Match Thread

Sorry pep, I love you but you fucked it again. Went into the game talking about how relaxed we were not changing it up then that line up. Couldn't resist. Wtf. Poor Sergio at the end.

one shot all night, disgraceful, simply fucking unecceptable
Awful just fucking awful.

Fair play to the chavs they have our number. Pep and the players need to learn from this shitshow. Kev was completely nullified, Foden should have been lm. We had no midfield to put any kind of stamp on the game. Pep has a lot of credit in the bank but he did fuck up tonight. The players decision making was awful. They could not string 2 passes together.

Chelsea pressed high on the wingers and counter with no midfield to stop them.

Collectively naive. The true swashbuckling city did not show up.

Anyway, onto next season.

Not to be. Gutted. Absolutely gutted. Just felt like a step too far in the end. So many had off nights. After the heights of BMG and PSG to lose to these niggerly boring sods really sucks. I’m not sure any formation would have seen us get that game won. Many will talk about Sterling but actually he wasn’t awful. And playing very wide on both sides didn’t stretch Chelsea. Kevin and gundog non existent. Phil took an age to make a mark. Ah well the double it is and a tremendous season still.

No natural forward on the pitch from the start (Jesus or Aguero), knew it would come round and bite us on the arse. You only hinder your self like that if you have no other options. Mahrez is a waste of space in my book, always has been always will be.
He's had a pretty good season, but tonight every time he was about to do summat he was taken down. But he didn't do much when he wasn't. In fact, it was one of those games where we couldn't pick a MotM.

Pep is the best manager in the world over 38 games.

In a one off, must win game, he's completely lost it. He's inept. No other word for it. Inept.

He simply ruined our chances today. The players didn't know WTF was going on. Totally fucked us up. Totally.

Over a 38 game season he's got basically not matches that deal with this kind of pressure

That's ultimately the difference I think. The pressure gets to him, and as such rational thought just goes straight out the window every time

Won £250 on Chelsea. The easiest money I’ll ever make. We were always going to bottle that.

Yet another hollow CL win for Chelsea though. If you don’t win your own league and win the CL then in my opinion, it means nothing.

Sterling sale this summer would be good value.

If we win the league every season and go out in the CL at the group stages, I’ll be a happy man.

Hopefully this is the kick up the arse the board needs to not stall in the window after winning a title. 3 big signings and retain our title.

We needed big performances from Sterling and Mahrez not the chuckle brothers playing hide and seek. Play acting at every coming together from Chelsea was embarrassing towards the end.
