We had a great CL (pretty much wiped out Dortmund and PSG, and most seem to think we had a tough draw) so this hurts more because I'm disappointed we didn't finish our fine campaign with the win our overall CL performance deserved.

But I've said this before -- we WILL be back in a final. I believe it. I more than believe it -- I KNOW it. And with most of this side, and this manager. So, no, I wouldn't be happy. Sorry there is more to it than that, the defence had no simple out ball which meant they got caught a few times early on and made the edgy. No holding player meant the defenders had to look for a midfielder, something they don’t normally need to do. Defence looked on edge all night. How we have gone 3 years without a descent left back is beyond me as well

Although I don’t agree with Pep’s selection I think the players he selected played poorly- De.Bruyne, Mahrez, Sterling, Stones, Silva - none of them turned up tonight. I think the performance of the players actually made Pep’s selection look even worse. In the first half I can’t think of one player who played to his normal standard

That was partly down to them not being comfortable with the setup. We'll never know for sure, but it's hard not to think it cost us in a big way.

60 games this season playing with either Rodri or Fern. In the biggest game, on the biggest stage, he plays neither.

A well deserved loss was not what I was looking forward to, the line up worried me for a start. Seriously pissed off that City lost this, extremely pissed off, they are a better team than a good Chelsea, but once again Tuchel does for us,
and fair play to him, he fucking deserves it.

I don't know does he deserve it really. We've had three chances to beat his negative system and we didnt . I'm not saying he isnt a good manager. No sour grapes from me but we've got to not offer up our passing mistakes to him on such an open plate. It's all his negativity and closed lines defense which we must break through. Playing gundogan as dm negates his strengths, I just cant comprehend what pep was thinking, dinho for Sterling, it's simple, dinho stops that space for the goal, allows us more control and wear chelsea down, they didn't suffer because we had no control, so fucking disappointed with that, pep I love you but you fucked up tonight, there really was no excuse,

on to next season, a couple of signings to freshen the team, and challenge again for all 4 trophies, so close to a dream season, but overall an excellent season, league, cc cup, semi of the fa cup and final of the champions league, couldn't be prouder of the team
