At 21 years old mate, with a good 13 years of a City career still ahead of him.

I would put my mortgage on him starting in another final.

It is a really sad day for sure,the Sun is shinning,we are League Champions.

We vent on here and get it all out of our system,and we go again as a club.

Aside from towards the end when it became clear we were getting nowhere the noise from the blues was great.
Broadcasters do have a tendency to use artistic licence.
The only way to gauge a crowd is by being there
 
We are definitely going to be in the mix for the Semis from now on. Our final appearance isn't an one off.
 
Despite the result had an brilliant day yesterday to be honest. Few beers round ours then down the CFA on the big screen followed by a Premier League and League Cup double party back at ours til the early hours
 
We didn't give a great account of ourselves - but that's City all over. We're a million times better than we used to be, but sometimes, you simply can't win everything, even when you're the better team overall (not on the night).

Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, United, Juventus - they've all gone through this. It's part of football.
 
Devastated today, even more so than yesterday.

Pep got it wrong but we can’t blame everything on him either.

When I saw the line up I couldn’t believe it. Sterling??? The player who’s out of form completely. From March he has ONE goal in all competitions for us, ONE GOAL!! , he didn’t start any of the quarter final or semi final matches but Pep starts him in the final?? Wtf.

A midfield that hasn’t played together in a year? Our only match this season without Rodri or Fernandinho starting was a CL final. Haha what a joke.

By starting Sterling, we moved Gundogan to DM where he hasn’t played in ages, we move Foden from LW where he’s been fantastic.

Despite the selection we played poorly. A lot of players were invisible. So it can’t all be on Pep. What ever the line up, had we even started with a 352 the players need to do better and rise to the occasion.

and the handball?? Looked like a James handball to me? Didn’t see it mentioned much here and no replays were shown. Very strange.

overall one huge disappointment at the end of a wonderful season. Let’s hope we can improve the squad this summer and then try to retain the league and win some more trophies next season.

He’s a dirty cünt. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing and tried to con the ref by feigning injury. VAR should have looked at his movement and the deliberate shoulder to the face. IMO, that’s a straight red for endangering an opponent, but we all knew that wouldn’t happen.
I hope someone goes through the dirty cünt and breaks him in half. He’s been doing it all season and getting away with it. Sly cünt.

Going to cheer myself up and buy the new car i have been putting off because of the pandemic this week.

Can not decide on the A7, or A6.

Wife has just given me a couple of City gifts she was saving for when we had won.

One is that Etihad sign that looks like a Street sign.

Only reason i am not putting it up today,is i dont want to end up slapping the snot out of my Rag neighbor if he says something.

How do you the mics were at the Chelsea end? BT were at Chelsea’s end, but BT don’t provide the audio for all of the stadium, it will be a Portuguese network, so there will be mics all around the pitch.

All im getting at is last night was weird. From the first minute they were pumped up as were their fans. City’s performance mirrored our fans, nervous and felt the occasion. Peps line up could have had something to do with it.
 
We're 22 years on today from beating Gillingham to secure our survival and start this journey, now we're bickering about losing thr CL final.

At the end of the day that hurt the squad and for players at that level it's motivation. This season hasn't been the best City side, it's been a patch up job that flummoxed our rivals for 3 months whilst they stumbled and we had a decisive winning run.

Ultimately people like Kev won't want their CL memory to be that and it will push them to right it. If we'd nicked it at the death last night it would have been jubilation but like 2012 the hurt rival would have pissed on our parade the following season.

Now we have motivation and hunger to right a wrong. Our squad has been there now and felt the pain and I think it's a good thing for a squad so used to domestic comforts.
