Striker and... For me a central midfielder that can play across all front 5 positions is more useful than a athletic midfielder that plays mainly in the DM posistion. Just for the fact that I think we need someone creative more than energy at the back. So I hope we go for Grealish rather than Bissouma/Zakaria/Luiz.
Prices for Haaland and Kane are crazy this summer. If we can't get a swap or big money for Laporte, Sterling, or Bernardo, I think the best option is to buy a low price striker (Silva would be nice I guess, or an experienced old top striker like Cavani) and then go for a top winger like Coman. Then go for Haaland next summer

Sadly we don't always agree which makes for a better debate. But, we are allowed our own opinion surely? Otherwise what is the point? Iv'e been a member for years but spent many as a voyeur because some of the vitriol on here is downright uncalled for. Yeah, I've heard your reasons, very valid reasons. For me i just think our attack and defence are going in different directions.Think Grealish is the least likely on that list tbh. For a myriad of reasons. But I see he has a lot of big big fans on the forum. I like him too, he's a to player. But he's not a must at City for me, not by a long stretch.

It’s all about Pep’s last two years and giving him a player that can fit right in from the off. As I have said previously when Pep leaves we are left with a player that’s nearly 30. We should be looking beyond two years and going all out for Haaland and pays what it takes. But I suspect they will go with Kane, but just don’t see the longer term value in it.I have a very strong feeling that Chelsea will push to get Haaland......they are more than capable of throwing a bid at Dortmund that they would be crazy to refuse......

Ive always said Id much rather have Haaland than Kane but it seems the powers at be and more importantly Pep has decided that they/he would rather have Kane than Haaland....i just cant see it personally except down to the prem experience part but for me with someone like Haaland I dont think that matters

Do we take the current best 9 in the league, or do we take the guy who is going to be the best 9 over possibly the next decade.
