That would be very smart.

They know we are in more need of a striker than them this summer.

It takes us out of the game this summer and everyone else next year.

Would be a smart move from Chelsea if they could make it happen. But not sure why Haaland would agree to this, seems like a deal with few benefits and many downsides for him. These kind of deals are usually more attractive to players that feel the need to jump on the opportunity to sign for a big club, because that opportunity may never come again. Haaland knows he can pick and choose next year, and to me it makes little sense to why he would lock up his future next summer already if he is going to stay a year anyway. A lot can happen in a year, Chelsea could miss top4 and Tuchel might be long gone next summer.

If Sterling goes it will be because of his high wage demands. If he wants £400k a week then its goodbye.

Jesus is being linked to Juventus but I can see him signing new deal as I think he could be happy to be squad player.

Binning the likes of Bernardo, Laporte, Mahrez, Sterling would not be bad thing as long as we get the right money.

Squad refresh to replace players who have won loads with top young players who are hungry would also be a good thing. Basically it would officially the Pep's City 2.0 from next season on.

Lets not forget that we only had great 6 months this season. In the first part of the season it was looking like things have got stale but Pep managed to squeeze one more great season out of this squad thankfully.

If Haaland really wants to move to the PL surely he would just wait till someone pays his release clause next year because that opens a lot more doors for him. Isn't his release fee £70m? which makes him affordable to any of the top 6.

The Chelsea bid sounds a bit weaker than I expected. Was reported Abramovich had called them when they put the 160m price tag on him. But if it's not cash.... Not quite the same thing. Not as forceful as we were led to believe. There's so much in that deal no way all of it suits BVB, and then you'd have to get through the swapped player negotiations. It's the sort of bid designed - at least at first - to fail, stall proceedings, and ask questions of the seller and put pressure on other teams they are negotiating with.

Dortmund about to sell Sancho. Wait to see what happens after that - but I still think Haaland will stay until next summer.

I have mates who are Chelsea and they all say that they would be smashing the wage structure for Haaland and that's the stumbling block.
They all want Sancho and think they can get him!
