Have to say overall that was a rather dull and low quality half.

Foden out wide works for City because we have so much possession that he gets more of the ball out wide than midfielders in other teams do, England doesn't have that same dominance and he's on the periphery of the game as a result. Mount is spending so much time wide left that he may as well just play there, move sterling over to the right and Phil in the middle, all 3 would be better suited to that.
